So I was very brave and picked out new glasses all by myself. What do you think?!

Here's a close up where you can see the red--just like Emma's glasses :o)

By request of Kristina . . .

. . . here are a few pictures of my house. The loft, master bedroom, and master bathroom are still disaster areas so you'll have to wait for those pictures.

The kitchen with all the appliances.

My beautiful new stove.

A close-up of the stove with its cool griddle.

The dining room. I bought blinds for all the rooms, but haven't installed them yet. They are two-inch faux wood.

The guest bathroom. Notice the beautiful curved shower rod Dad installed. What do you think of the picture? It's not my normal style, but I think it goes well with the shower curtain.

A close-up of the new artwork.

A close-up of my new duvet cover. Once I get it washed and ironed, I'll take a picture of it on my bed.

AsilAnna Yadhtrib Yppah!

In honor of AnnaLisa's 24th birthday, I decided I would post some lovely pictures from her childhood.Wasn't she the most adorable baby?!

Everyone's favorite babysitter.

There's that beautiful smile we all know and love!

Looking very professional while on her mission in Donetsk, Ukraine.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNALISA! WE LOVE YOU!

C'est Finis!

I had a walk-through of the house this morning and it looked great. I can't believe that I'm going to be a homeowner this time next week!

They finally put the shutters up. I think that the dark green looks nice.

The kitchen is finished except for the crown molding on the cabinets.

View from the family room towards the front of the house.

The formal living, which will probably remain empty for a while until I can afford new furniture :o)

The upstairs loft.

The hall bathroom. (Don't look too closely or you'll see how much weight I've gained.)

The master bath. I cannot wait to try out the tub!

And last, but not least, the lovely master bedroom.

Almost finished

The exterior is completely finished except for the shutters. I think the landscaping looks great.

The garage door is on and they've even put the house number up.

The back deck.

Another view of the back deck.

I think the countertops look great. What a relief! Now I'm not so sure about the white appliances though. What do you think?

A view of the kitchen and breakfast area.

The front entryway and formal living room.

View of the dining and family rooms from the entryway.

The upstairs bathroom and stair landing.

The powder room.

The master bath.

Even more green

Notice the new tree! The landscaping (other than the sod) is pretty much finished. We're still missing the shutters on the exterior.

They've started the deck.

The upstairs hallway. The trim on the second floor is almost done.

The master bedroom.

The master bath.

The kitchen. The countertops are supposed to go in this week. I'm crossing my fingers that they look good with the cabinets and tile :o)

And just for Adam . . . the neighborhood pool and playground!
