Camping on Madeline Island

I thought I would share a few pictures from my camping trip with Mom this weekend. We drove up to Bayfield, Wisconsin and took a ferry to Madeline Island. It was a beautiful drive (once we got out of the traffic on I-35) and the ferry ride was fun.

Although we had a few snags along the way (dead air pump, wet wood) we still had a great time :o) Nothing beats sitting outside on a beautiful night and gazing at the stars!

My first star trails picture. I was very happy with how it turned out. I will definitely be trying more of these in the future.

Pretty orange flowers.

Pretty yellow flowers (descriptive, I know).

A lovely tattoo I got from carrying a bag of bagels under my arm.

Been looking forward to seeing pix from Madeline Island. Great pix, although I was hoping to see some more of your actual tent and camp site. Thanks for posting! My turn next weekend...

When Karey, Lincoln and I come up hopefully next summer, we need to go camping. That is not a promise that we will come, but I keep thinking that we need to and not in the winter ;)
